Here are a few activities that you can do at home to continue your music education |
1: Get on Quaver!
Log in to your account on quavermusic.com using your lunch number. You will some some assignments that I've sent to everyone. These are just some fun suggestions! If you create something that you're proud of, be sure to send it to me so that I can see it too :) To get 300 quavernotes (spending money for your character), enter the code MusicAtHome and musicmadness20 (these are two different codes) 2: Musical Bingo! Pick a board and try to accomplish 1-2 squares on a board each day. Go for Bingo, Double Bingo, and Full Page Bingo! 3: Listening Logs These are just like the ones we do in class, except you get to pick the song. Listen to the song, then list what instruments you hear, a question you would ask the composer, and draw a picture to go with the song. Extra Challenge: Have a family member pick the song for you 4: Watch a musical On YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu you can find both film and stage versions of different musicals that you can watch with your family. 5: Write your own song You can do this through just rhythms and words, percussion with different objects around the house, or use Quaver to help you write a melody |
